The Recycling Club is a dedicated club that is in the process of forming a more suitable lifestyle for earth. Due to their efforts in recycling resources, it ends up in a recycling bin instead of turning it towards a landfill which will pollute the earth and make it uninhabitable.
Unfortunately, the club does not have many volunteers at the moment and are looking for more volunteers to help make the school’s future more sustainable.
“We currently only have Recycling bins for E100’s,B100’s, B200’s,” says Mr. Hooker, Club Sponsor. “and sporadically placed throughout the school building.”
However students find that the recycling club is “Boring” or “Useless”, this may be because a lot of people don’t see the point in recycling, which is why the Earth is in this position in the first place.
“If preventing resources from going into landfills and making a more suitable lifestyle for you doesn’t do the tricks than the perhaps the snacks i have available at the end of each meeting will do the trick,” says Mr. Hooker.
The feeling of doing something good for your community is inside of us all when we do something nice for a elderly, or cleaning up the trash on the streets and parks, “Just like the Recycling clubs gives you for the amount of Recyclables that you will recycle in the Recycling Club Just as Mr. Hooker states.
The Recycling Club is an important addition to our school community because not only can it give students an opportunity to do something good, but things like this will actually do good for the real world.
