This week at FDHS, applications have been handed out to students for the ambassadors program. We spoke to a few students currently in the program to ask about their personal experiences and what the program is all about! An ambassador at FDHS is someone who takes a strong role in leadership by taking people on tours of the school, taking part in meetings, and representing the school with full integrity. Let’s dive deeper into what it takes to be an ambassador and why it is recommended!
To be an ambassador it requires strong public speaking skills, confidence, and leadership skills. You also have requirements to even be able to apply like passing grades, good attendance ,and positively representing Frederick Douglass. If you think you have what it takes to be an Ambassador you can ask one of your teachers for an application packet. Once you fill out the packet you can turn it in to Mrs. Mills and wait to hear back!
