Recently the freshman class went on a field trip to the Bi-Water Pumpkin Patch in Georgetown.
The pumpkin patch had barnyard animals, fun activities, and delicious local treats at the store.
The trip lasted for most of the school day and it was a fun activity for most of the students who attended.
Bi-water had a store and grill where you could buy lunch or local treats. The grill offered lunch items and ice cream as well. The grill was a popular spot and the line became long. The store offered classics such as apple cider and cider donuts. The apple cider was so popular that it was sold out and many people bought and shared the donuts. They also sold fudge and it was a hit as well.
When the students got there they got on a hayride to go out to a pumpkin patch. They were given the chance to select any pumpkin for free. Many students did indeed pick one but some didn’t as they didn’t want the hassle of carrying it around all day.
After getting to choose a pumpkin, the students rode back to the main area. There, there were many things they could do. There were many different types of playground areas for the students to have fun. From ziplines to slides there was something for everyone!
Overall the freshman had lots of fun going to Bi-Waters Farm. Many of them didn’t want to leave and go back to school and thought they left too early. Hopefully this will continue in the coming years of all freshman classes as they have fun during the fall and learn more about agriculture!
