Boo! Boo Grams are now in season and are for sale in the cafeteria during all lunches.
Boo Grams are personalized notes with an attached piece of candy that you can send to your friends for only a dollar. They will be delivered October 31st during B1 and B4.
The Boo Gram candy selection comes in a wide variety, ranging from chocolates like Kit Kats, to sweet delights like Smarties and flavored lollipops! Perfect for the trick or treat season.
The Boo Grams are being sold for our Black Student Union within the school, in which the fundraising money will go towards various historical field trips and scholarships for its members.
Mrs. Turnley, the founder of BSU, hopes to “give her members the opportunity to be more culturally aware.”
BSU’s members are extremely grateful to anyone who buys Boo Grams, as it contributes to their club’s activities and opportunities to learn more about African American culture.
BSU’s overall goal for this year is to increase their growth in members, and have more inclusivity within their club, to allow the school to have a space for people who value unity through diversity.
“Our club is open to anyone who is interested in their culture as an African American” says Gracie Mayembe, a BSU member.
These Boo Grams are only available until October 31st, so be sure to get your friend a spooky treat before it’s Boo late!
Happy Halloween!
