Gabby Petito was a 22- year-old American woman who has gained a lot of attention recently for her documentary. In the documentary, Gabby goes missing during a cross-country road trip with her fiance Brian Laundrie. The young couple was traveling the U.S. by van and documented their travels on social media.
During their travels, they experienced some arguments that caused tension within their relationship. Footage captures a domestic dispute between Gabby and Brian, in Utah. Later, Brian returns home to Florida without Gabby. Brian and his family refused to speak with authorities, and later Brian disappeared himself.
Authorities found Gabby’s remains in Wyoming’s Bridger-Teton National Forest; her death was ruled a homicide.
As for Brian, authorities searched the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park in Florida, which his parents said was the last place they knew he had been. Authorities thoroughly searched the park for over a month, struggling to find anything out of the ordinary. Brian’s parents joined the search on the morning of October 20th, 2021 and found Brian’s remains within 30-45 minutes of searching.
This raised public speculation, authorities searched for over a month using professional equipment and found nothing. However, Brian’s parents, who authorities already found suspicious, found his remains on the first day of their search. In my opinion, I believe that Brian’s parents were involved
