“Joining Biomed was really hard for me. Freshman year was very stressful. I was very worried about my grades and didn’t know what I even wanted to do. Setting goals for myself like studying before a big assignment, and getting help when I needed it, really helped me push to the grade I am at right now. Thinking about the opportunities that I could get from being in the Biomed program helped me succeed. It also helped me explore jobs and opportunities which led me to where I am now. The best advice I’ve ever gotten is ‘focus on trying to overcome the obstacles, rather than the outcome of not trying at all’”
